“And let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them.”   God     Exodus 25:8

“Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you.  I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.”     God    Leviticus 26:11, 12

“But when he (Joseph) had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream saying, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for that which has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins.’  Now all this took place that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means, ‘God with us’.   Matthew 1:20-23

“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”     John 1:14

And the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10, 11

To think, that Almighty Holy God would make His dwelling place with us!    Almost unbelievable!  Truly, the birth of Jesus, God’s Son, is “good news of a great joy” and it needs to be proclaimed to “all the people”.
