We are in November and the choice is ours how we rein in our mind and thoughts.  This is always a factor we deal with and God’s word has lots to say about that.

Ephesians 1:18-19 NIVI pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

If we look and think first and long on who our mighty God is, we are getting a right perspective to look around and live each day. He is almighty, majestic, loving, powerful, mighty in strength and abundant in His love to us. He is passing the riches of this glorious inheritance to us, joint heirs with Christ. Wow! He wants our eyes to see, our hearts to then be enlightened so we can have hope. HE wants to give US hope. He wants us to claim it because we are His and it comes from Him, not trusting in what the world gives or takes away, but on our Rock, our firm foundation. In Him we can knock down the fortresses that hold us, the part of our thinking that is not from Him.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NASB For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

Let’s take up our armor together and press on, knowing the victory is ours in Christ. Take captive those thoughts and pray at all times. Be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints Ephesians 6:18
